Applications are now open for the first ever MHF ARTS CERTIFICATION PROGRAMME 2025!
As part of The Malay Heritage Foundation’s commitment to support talent development among artists who are keen in deepening their knowledge of traditional art forms, we have partnered with Universitas Negeri Malang, to bring to you a Tari Topeng Dance Residency!
This residency provides performing artists the opportunity to further their craft on a regional level in Indonesia – the home of Tari Topeng!
Successful applicants will:
Applicants can look forward to an outdoor in-situ lesson at an actual temple site in Malang. Applicants must also be able to commit to the entire 28-day residency period from 15 June to 12 July 2025.
Upon successful completion of the programme, participants are required to do a showcase for MHF during Hari Warisan 2026. They will also be supported and matched to schools in Singapore to help them kick start a career in teaching dance if they so wish.
